Default setting up printer hp 882C Deskjet

When I try to load my printer the system tells me to
insert my windows 98se disk and click ok. When I do so it
then tells me it can not find the
file "E:\INSTALLS\WinCabs\98se" What do I do next? I am
a novice and know little about computers.

Find out where the CABs are stored, and change the path so that the
procedure looks in the right place. For instance, if E is your CD drive and
it's a standard W98 installation CD, the correct path would be
E:\Win98

If the CABs are stored on a hard disk drive then the path might be
different, such as
D:\Options\CABS
