Default Changing password error

On windows me I go to change my password and it asks me to type in my current
password so I do that then it asks me new password so I do that then it asks
me to confirm soI do that and then I click ok then it says an error meassage
saying ''password is incorrect'' when it all is I check my spelling but it is
all correct but still brings up the error is there any way I could fix this?

Default Changing password error

Presumably you are referring to the Windows Logon Password. If so, to save
you a lot of hassle, why not rename/delete your xxx.PWL file in the Windows
folder, shut down and re-boot and start over again.

BTW - When it comes to setting up again, then if you no longer want a
password, enter a name but DO NOT enter any password at all, then click OK.
DO NOT "Cancel".
