Keyboard/mouse not recognized at windows startup
Hi all
I dont know a thing about computers but I will try my best to give you all the details I know. -according to hubby, my hard drive crashed; we bought used one with windows 98SE installed on it. -installed on computer and then tried to install hp printer, but wouldnt because of the color (needed true color?). Not exactly sure of why, but my hubby re- installed? windows 98 from restore disk from previous hard drive (hope that made sense) -ever since then hubby says that keyboard/mouse which are plugged into usb are not recognized at windows log-in, but does work in BIOS and DOS. I have no idea what any of this means, except that when we tried to use serial keyboard it still wasnt recognized. Any help would be very very much appreciated!! TIA |
