Default Having trouble replacing my old hard drive with a new one

I am really having trouble replacing my old hard drive
with a new one. I've gotten as far as getting the left
side panel off but I can't figure out how to push the
drive out through the front without breaking the plastic
cover. Any help is appreciated!

You do not usually remove hard drives through the front of a PC case. Remove
the retaining screws and the cables, them 'reverse' the drive out and remove
from the case.

Just a wild guess, but since I don't know what brand pc
you have (not that it really matters), in my experience
the hard drive does not go thru the front panel but slides
out of a cage. Make sure you have a good 360 degree view
of your hard drive and look for any screws attached to the
bottom-sides- or top that may have to be removed
