Default DOS game works but does not display correctly

I have an old pinball game that used to run fine on WIN95. Now I have
another computer with 98 and I've been able to successfully install this game
(Hyper 3-D Pinball) but once it starts running, the screen shows only a
section of the game in three parts, almost like it's overlapping itself.
There's also three mouse cursors, one in each part of the display. I got the
computer, from a friend, with four different monitors. I've noticed that
none of the monitors have all of the male pins (different pins are missing
from each monitor) but each one gives me the same results. Otherwise, each
monitor works okay. I'm thinking about buying another video card, but I'm
worried that it might be too "updated" to display a DOS game. Can anyone
give me an idea of which way to go on this?

Thanks.

Any options in the game itself to change screen resolution?

The game is old but it does mention that some video cards may cause a
problem, and it lists a couple, but I've tried changing the display settings
to no affect. However, that was when I've tried to install it on my computer
with XP on it. I'll give that a try on my other machine and see what
happens. Meantime, if you can think of any other suggestions, I'd surely
appreciate it.

Thanks.
