Default mouse problems

my mouse keeps randomly jumping around the screen or opening or closing new
windows. Sometimes the mouse just freezes up. Any ideas? Ive checked for
viruses and spyware.

Are you by any chance using a version of Office?
Do you have an active microphone connected?
disable CTFMON and see if the problem goes away.
