I'm currently running XP. I have an old floppy with
records stored under Windows 98. Where can I go on the
MS site to get this open and or convert/up date it to
open under XP.

Thank you

Any Windows 98 floppy diskette should be readable under Windows XP with no
changes. What happens when you try to read it in Windows XP?

The problem is not that the files were stored under Windows 98, but they
were stored using an application (such as WORD) that you had with Windows 98
and you do not have with your new version of the operating system. If you
can identify what this application was (ie, what application created the
files that you are trying to access) then it is possible to find an
application that you can install in your current operating system that can
access these files.
