Default Can't print to win98se printer from Vista wifi laptop

I have a Vista laptop and Win98se desktop on a network. Laptop is wifi.
Printer (Epson CX3200) is connected to win98se desktop.

If I add a 'local printer' in vista and select the \\PCname\EPSON as the
port and then print test page, all works ok. Print of other files works
fine. However, If I shut down the laptop and reboot, then I can't print any
more. When I look at print queue it say 'Access Denied' at top of print
queue screen.

Does anyone have any idea how I can sort this out? Any help much
appreciated.

Thanks,
DS
