Default SATA hard disk

I have win ME in my SATA hard disk.If i connect IDE cdrom
in parallel then pc is not booting.It says boot
failure.If i revert back then it's booting fine.

Change the Boot Order in the motherboards BIOS _ it's looking for the IDE
drive before the SATA drive
