Default Utility to save file list with long file names

Does anyone know of a handy utility which can save the list of folders and files
in a directory with their long file names?

The DIR command only outputs 8.3 filenames.

Thanks,

Ivan

I like and use Print Folder.

I see Jim has it still listed at his website half way down under the P's

http://aumha.org/freeware/freeware.htm

I see it's also still at the original website at the bottom of the page:

.....ps, I use the pro version and so hopefully the regular version has
LFN too.

first distributed through one of the popular US
magazines (PC World?}

I wonder how or why someone would write an app that is compatible with Me, but

Thanks, Rick. Seems like the free version doesn't do subfolders, though.

Isn't this what xxcopy.exe (3rd part prog. i.e. not an MS DOS external),
supposed to do ?
....there was an explanation on a /? switch somewhere that explained where
the dos 8.3 / long-filename table - file was placed or created.

....never touched it with a barge-pole since !

....years ago I stupidly relied on it to do what it promised, i.e. copy all a
drives files / root and sub -directories & files and it collapsed horribly
!!!!!!!! ...Hark ! ....listen to that approaching stampede of xxcopy.exe
users who claim to have never had xxcopy.exe let them down !!

regards, Richard

Franc, I see a period after %temp% and before the following backslash.
Doesn't seem right. Typo?
