Default KB 867282

In Windows update site I see I need that fix . I ever have downloaded these
files and installed offline .
Now I don't see this possibility for Winme but only for XP ,w 2000 .
Is it my fault ...or something is changed about WinMe ?
Thanks a lot.

I'm not sure I understand the problem. If on visiting the WU site it
offers you the 867282 Cumulative Update for Internet Explorer what is
preventing you from installing it? If however you are saying you
downloaded and installed the patch and are now no longer being offered the
patch on the WU site then that is perfectly normal as the WU site will not
offer a patch once it been installed.

Perhaps it would help if you were to explain exactly what the problem is
you are having and what steps you took from when you were first aware you
needed the patch.

Sorry for my english !
I 'd prefer to install KB867282 offline but I don't see a site to download
it .
(Only for XP and Window 2000 it is possible...) .

I'm not sure I understand the problem. If on visiting the WU site it
offers you the 867282 Cumulative Update for Internet Explorer what is
preventing you from installing it?

I've read in the past that could be dangerous to install an I.E. cumulative
patch online ,
Is it no more dangerous ?
Regards.

I've never experienced any problems but that does not mean that others
haven't. Just ensure that your antivirus application is disabled whilst
installing from the Windows Update site, especially anything that might
prevent a script from running..

I 'd prefer to install KB867282 offline but I don't see a site to
download it .

Understood. You can download KB867282 for both IE5.5 SP2 and IE6 SP1 for
Win Me from the Windows Update Catalog
(http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.co...en/default.asp).

Best wishes,

Thanks for the feedback. I'm pleased to read you've managed to download
and install the service pack.
