Default CD Rom Drive not reading Disc

Whenever I try to copy something to a disc It keeps
telling me to please insert a bank disc when there's
already one in it. I've tried Audio copy, Data copy, I
even put in a bank CD and went to my Compuer, D Drive and
tried explore but it still tells me the same thing.
Please insert a disc. Any other cd's that have data on
them work but it's just not reading the blank ones. I
have a writable/DVD Combo Drive and the blank cd's I'm
using are Memorex CD-R 48x 700mgb 80 min. If any of that
helps.

Thank You

Beau

It might help if you were to indicate what software you are attempting to
use to write to CDs. Explorer is unable to read blank CDs since they have
no filing system etc. unless you have packet writing software such as
Roxio's Direct CD or Ahead's InCD installed.

I tried both Roxio easy cd and dvd creator and Burn$Free
They both tell me the same thing Plese insert disc. It's
like my cd rom drive is just not seeing these cd's.

No, but have no wish to continue. I use neither of the products you
mention.
