Default Error message when loading Adobe Acrobat

"Could not find color space named Cs6" comes up when using
Adobe Acrobat---all pages are black, document loads but
can't be read/

The only thing I find on this error message suggests that the user should
upgrade to a newer version of the Reader.

I agree with Ron....that error indicates that the version of Acrobat Reader you are
using is too old to handle the file you are trying to read. You must upgrade to a
later version of the Reader. What version are you using now?
