Default auto hangup for DUN?

I am using Win98 DUn and my ISP has no auto-hangup feature. Can anyone
suggest a setting at my end or an alternate dialler perhaps to prevent
me spending connection time needlessly?

Go to My Computer - DialUp Networking - r-click your ISP -
Properties - General - Configure - Connection. Check the
"Disconnect a call if idle for more than ... mins" box and specify
your idle time. Be aware that some applications may reset the idle
timer. For example, your email client may be configured to check your
mailbox at regular intervals.
