i'm looking for somewhere to download a boot disc for WIN
ME. i've tried WIN 98, but no good. anyone, please?

You can download the image of a Win ME OEM boot disk from www.bootdisk.com.
Download to your desktop, double click to run and follow the prompts to
transfer the image to a floppy.

If your system is working more or less normally, then you can make one in :

ControlPanel/AddRemovePrograms/StartupDisk

For BOOT DISK: Go to "bootdisk.com", there you'll find
what you need.
