Win98SE and Publisher 2000 problem
I recently reformatted and reinstalled Win98SE for a friend. He previously
had Microsoft Office 97 installed but had lost the CD a long time ago in a house move, so he bought MS Office 2000 at a local computer fair and I installed it after doing the reformat and reinstall of Windows. Every time he opens Publisher the computer crashes so I asked him for the exact error message but he hasn't got back to me yet (we live 30 miles apart so I can't see it for myself until next week). Thing is, he's not the first person I've heard of with this problem so I was just wondering if it's a well known problem and anyone could give me any pointers where to start. Cheers, Mogweed. |

Start with the exact error message and in a newsgroup for MS Office or MS Publisher. -- Don Phillipson Carlsbad Springs (Ottawa, Canada) |
