Default ebay picture services freezing

Every time I try to access the ebay picture services my ie browser freezes. I have cleared my cache, lowered my privacy settings, done the windows updates. I do not have the problem in netscape or mozilla, only in ie 6.0. The ebay people are stumped. Please help! I am running windows 98, Pentium III, 192K ram etc.
