Lost WordPad, Calc and ability to open jpg files

Wordpad, Quick Viewer and calculator have disappeared from
my pc. I tried reloading them from the Win98 CD but could
not locate them there either. Also, double cliking on a
jpg file no longer opens the file, even though IE is
selected as the application in Windows Set-up. Help?

The QuickViewer and Calculator and Wordpad can be found on the Win98 CD
but not as you think. Look under: Control Panel Add/Remove Programs
Windows setup, select them there and click OK.

You might also try a registry repair tool just to be sure... MS RegClean
is one that is safe to use. The others are a gamble and I wouldn't
recomend them.
