problems with logging on

I'm running windows 98se I use no charge to access the
internet. I keep getting the message, an error has occured
in Internet Explore. Internet Explorer will now shut down.
I can't get online to run any spyware, any suggestions?

If you are using the Error Reporting Tool, disable it so you can access the
