Default Lost CD Drive

Since I installed Windows Me I have not been able to find
my CD Rom and needs advise on how to get the system to
recognize that there is a CD Rom installed.

Might be worth confirming that you can (still) see it in your BIOS, and also
in Real Mode DOS using your WinMe Startup (floppy) Disk (use the 'With
CD-ROM support' option). Check all is well under these conditions before
concentrating on WinMe.
