Renaming a PC
Hi,
When I set up my old pc I gave it an obscure name. I'd like to remane it to something more memorable for the purposes of identifying it on certain programs that operate on my home network. It's easy in XP, but I can't see how to do it in 98se! Thanks |

You could also have done it by Right clicking on Network Neighborhood -
Properties - Identification tab. -- Jon Hildrum DTS MVP www.hildrum.com "David" wrote in message ... Ok - problem solved. Did it in regedit "David" wrote in message ...
