error message on start-up
Win Me contains no file image.dll.
Image.dll is, or rather was, part of a commercial parasite and I can only assume that when cleaning your PC using AdAware, SpyBot or some other cleaner it left an entry in the registry that is attempting to launch this malware whenever you boot your PC. Have a look at http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/ven...e.iefeats.html which describes what Symantec refer to as Adware.Iefeats which uses a image.dll file. This is a variant of the odious CoolWebSearch and possibly the easiest way of removing this offensive parasite is to use merijn's CWShredder. CWShredder can be downloaded from either: http://www.zerosrealm.com/downloads/CWShredder.zip or http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/cwshredder.zip --?
