Default Large .iso image burn is too big...

I'm trying to burn an .iso file that is about 693 MB. I use Hotburn, and if I
use the copy CD image setup, the 700 MB disc is only recognized as 648 MB; if I
choose copy files instead, then I get 703 MB to use. I can't burn this .iso
image the traditional way. What is the problem, besides what I just explained,
and what should I do? BTW, the Sony 700 MB blank disc only reads as 648 MB in
"My Computer".

Cymbal Man,

I tried to do the same thing too!
I used hotburn pro, my file was 694.

Hotburn warned me it might not fit.
Then I got another warning message, asking if I wanted to close the
disk prior to burning the iso file (knoppix).
I choose not to have it closed, prior to burning the disk. The warning
mention that there might not be enough room to properly close the disk.
I am file burning novice.

I also downloaded the ISO file (knoppix) to my HD 1st. and then tried
to burn it to disk.
It burned it to disk, but I can't get the ISO file (knoppix) to boot on
my other notebook.
I'm not sure if it needs a boot disk or if the burn was not complete.
Hotburn pro said it was completed and the file was located on the
Maxell RW disk.

Hopefully someone will answer your question and I can find my answers
in replies to you.

Good luck!
