For Download Accelerated Plus users please
Quite often while try to download a file, the following message comes up --------------------------------------------------- Message DAP has found that the file is acually an HTML file. It is recommended that you choose "Open Browser" ------------------------------------------------ When I click the "Open Browser Button" it goes back to DAP dwonload screen and the same message comes up again. How can I solve this problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Hey aah,
This question would probaly be best answered by the developers/support team @ DAP. You can send them your question @ http://www.speedbit.com/DAP7/Feedback.asp On a side note: whenever I had a link do that to me, I would disable DAP and just right-click on the link and select SAVE AS ... I am not sure if this has something to do with the lenght of the URL or if it is something embedded in the link itself to prevent users from using download managers. I know some sites do not like all the mulitple connections that download managers use. ************************************************** ************************** * Craig Microsoft Setup Team Search our Knowledge Base at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx Visit the Windows 2000 Homepage at http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/default.asp See the Windows NT Homepage at http://www.microsoft.com/ntserver/ NOTE: Please reply to the newsgroup and not directly to me.
