The Win Me operating system does not but it is quite possible that a future application you might install will require the .NET Framework . Whether you install it or not is up to yourself. If you ever want to use Paint Shop Pro, it requires that .Net Framework 1.1

I didn't know that are you sure, I have PSP 7 on here and I had it when

No....you are right, Joanie. I have PSP 7.2 on here and never have

PSP 8 or higher requires Net Framework 1.1.

Hi Heather my version is 7 the anniversary edition, don't know whether

Hi Joanie.....
There is an update to 7.2.....I think. I put it on here for Elayne to do her graphics work over a year ago......she (the graphic designer) HATED it, not to mention she prefers a MAC. Sigh.......seems it wouldn't save 'layers' or some such. Anyway....I do have another update downloaded I think.....but never put it on. Check out the website.
