I keep getting an error message on startup saying PTSNOOP
has caused an error.

I have run Adware, Spybot S & D and CWSredder but they do
not help.

Can anyone help.

PTSNOOP.
This can either be a program installed as part of your modem's drivers and
used to monitor COM ports, or,
a backdoor trojan - for more details see F-Secure's page at
http://www.f-secure.com/v-descs/ptsnoop.shtml

What does you anti-virus application tell you about this file?
