Default ssdpsrv has caused an error

I defragmented the hard drive. Now when I start the
computer, I get a message that reads: "ssdpsrv has caused
an error in unknown" -- will now close. I read somewhere
that this is a message that can be removed if Universal
Plug and Play is uninstalled, but it does not look like it
is installed, so what do I do?

thanks

Install it (from Add/Remove Programs|Windows Setup) and uninstall it - see
if that works.
