Default Downloading

Win98SE, ThinkPad 770E

Is there a way to download directly to another computer on a 2 computer
peer-to-peer?

I tried saving through c:\windows\desktop, to a shortcut I had
previously pulled out of Network Neighborhood and thus to the relevant
drive. I expected to see list of shared drives on the other computer,
but when I selected the computer shortcut the file name switched to
(comuter).lnk and asked if I wanted to change it.

I know how to move the file after downloading. I'm just asking if there
isn't a direct route.

Jim L via the eCS 1.24 version of OS/2
