Setup repair option in 98SE ?
Is there a setup repair option in Win 98SE? I remember one from
somewhere, but I'm not sure when it was started? And can it be run from the DOS level from hard disk?

Setup repair option in 98SE ?
There was a setup repair option in W95 and it didn't work terribly well.

Thanks. I think I've recovered now. Repeated use of
AdAware-SpyBot-NAV-regedit seems to have cleared the problems. I used IE just briefly, and even behind a firewall with activeX disabled had several files and reg entries inserted by a (hijaaked?) web site.
