Default Sharing?

I am trying to delete some old webshare folders because
the previous web page has been dismantled (I'm just on
clean up crew . . .) and I keep getting messages
that: "You are sharing __(file name)__ as ___(file)__.
Others may be using files in this folder. If you delete
the folder, it will no longer be shared. Are you sure you
want to delete. Then prompts YES / NO." As I said the
web page is no more and I do want to delete but when I
press YES it just won't accept it and I can't do anything
until I abort and press NO. How do I get rid of these
files????

Thanks for your help.
Lynn
