Default BOOTED PC W/ CAMERA PLUGGED INTO USB PORT-Invalid System Disk Err

I accidently BOOTED PC W/ CAMERA PLUGGED INTO USB PORT-Got A Invalid System
Disk Error Message. How can I bring system back up to Windows?

This all resulted fro a "Hardware Improperly Removed Messsage" with an OK
prompt that froze entire system.

After researching HELP I was able to make a boot disk and briing system back
up to command prompt. I then did a "scanreg/restore" and selected the most
recent backup date which was 3/15/06.

After doing this and scan operation completed I received the following
message:
While initiating device IFSMGR The Microsoft installable file System Manager
cannot find the helper driver. Please ensure that IFSHELP.SYS has been
installed.

"SYSTEM HALTED"

What does this mean and how can I resolve this dilema? Thanks in advance!
