Default MSASN1.DLL

I have had no problems with W98, but as of a couple of
days ago I cannot get in. Right after login, I get the
following:

A required .DLL file, MSASN1.DLL, was not found. Then
followed with a close program message.

This is followed by:

Error loading C:\Windows\BXXS5.DLL One of the library
files needed to run this application cannot be found.
Followed by another close program message.

I assume something has zapped my MSASN.DLL file.

Any suggestions on how I can repair this?

Thanks, Sam

If you can boot Windows you can recover this from
your Win98 CD via SFC = System File Checker.

Error loading C:\Windows\BXXS5.DLL One of the library
files needed to run this application cannot be found.

This is not a Win98 file. Do you know what it is?
Are you exposed to viruses or malware?
