I just read in another thread that you have going that you have EZ BIOS
overlay software installed. You either need to continue using that software
or remove it and use the W98 boot disk.

Not sure but try "format C:" without the quotes, your post leaves the space
out between format and c, without the space it wont work since formatc.exe
doesnt exist, ya never know it might be a simple prob.

If you have an EZ BOIS floppy disk, you can use that. If not, this should
do it:

Zap or Wipe freeware will remove all partition information so you can start
over fresh with FDisk. Download he

In your first message you said you typed formatc:

You should type format c: /s to a command prompt to format your active =
partition, or type format drive: if you want to format a partition that =
is not your active partition. If you typed what you entered in your =
first message you would get an error because there is no space after =
fomat.

See:
How to Use the Fdisk Tool and the Format Tool to Partition or =
Repartition a Hard Disk

Hope this helps.

The correct command for formatting the C drive is format C:

Notice there is a space between the command format and C.
