Default 98 printing to NT Server - Event Viewer errors

I have a 98 client that logs into a Windows NT4 domain. The server
currently has a LaserJet 1100 connected to it via LPT1 that it is sharing
with Full Control permissions for Everyone. For some strange reason when I
print from the 98 box it looks like it goes through properly, but doesn't
actually print. I see the following entries in Event Viewer every time that
I do this:

ID 10: Document (variable #), (variable document name) owned by (variable
user) was printed on HP LaserJet 1100 via LPT1:. Size in bytes: 16; pages
printed: 0.

Immediately followed by:

ID 13: Document (variable #), (variable document name) owned by (variable
user) was deleted on HP LaserJet 1100.

I can successfully print directly from the NT4 Server. After much research,
the only thing that I found was to upgrade to the latest service pack, so I
installed SP6a over the existing SP4 but that did not change anything.
Apparently when they map a printer from another machine onto the NT4 Server
it cannot print to it either, but I did not play around with this at all.
Any ideas???
