Default "EXPLORER has caused an invalid page fault in module USER.EXE at 0003:00009914

Hi all,

I keep getting the error message ""EXPLORER has caused an
invalid page fault in module USER.EXE at 0003:00009914,"
after which Windows Explorer shuts down and freezes the
computer, necessitating a power off and restart. This is
is usually related to running maintenance programs such as
Norton OBC and virus check automatically from the task
scheduler, though not always. Sometimes it seems to
happen at random. Anyone have any ideas why this may be
happening or how to fix it, without reloading Windows 98?

Thanks,

M
