Default I need a copy of scnhndlr.exe

I mistakenly erased my scnhndlr.exe program a long time ago. I think this
program enables .pdf files to work on my computer.

This file is not part of the operating system nor, AFAIK, of Adobe Acrobat
which is one of the more common applications used to read PDF files. If
you think this is part of the PDF program you use why not reinstall that
program?

From Googling it looks as if scnhndlr.exe may be part of a Symantec
application but since I don't allow programs from Symantec to be installed
on my systems I cannot confirm this.

The name symantec brings back some memories. I deleted it some time ago. I
didn't think I needed it. The program was downloaded by one of my children. I
always clean up after them and that was one of the items I deleted. If you
could suggest something different I would appreciate it.
