Most people on the Internet say that Windows Me is the worst Windows
Version, but on my PC it works better than XP and 98. I like those Windows
version most: 98, 98SE, 2000 Pro, Me and Vista. Anyone like me? I would also
wanna ask if there will be any Windows Me service pack soon?

Not exactly, but WinME is fine with me.

No more *service pack* for WinME since July last year, I believe, but then
you probably don't need it either, if you are *properly protected*.

I want to ask one more thing - can I install Windows Me on a new PC?

You can, but why would you want to do that?

Because I don't like XP (I never got to like it) and I can't afford buying a
new PC with Vista now. I am deciding of installing either Windows 98, 98SE,
Me or 2000. Windows 98 and 98SE seem too obsolee for me, Me and 2000 are the
way to go!

Bravo Elian, on both counts!
Aida32 wants me to upgrade to Win2000.
Maybe at some future date I will.

Harry.

Harry,

Forgive me but that's not too smart.

IMHO Win98SE is far better than ME, and I am not an anti-ME person.

This may be useful for you:

WHICH WINDOWS DO I CHOOSE?
http://aumha.org/a/whichwin.php

And WinXP can be configured to be very similar, from the point of view of
the user, to the old Win9x looks, just use the Classic menus.

Be aware that modern hardware may not have drivers and support for these
older versions of Windows.

Anyway, select whatever you like and best of luck,

Zee

Not supposed to have anything to do with being *smart*, Zee.
It's more a thing of necessity, but I can see your point.
In the end the OP must make it's choice and, in doing so, can take your
comment into consideration, hopefully winding up with a *wise* decision.
