I'm still curious about the HD. What does Everest have to say about
the storage devices?

[ US Robotics 56k Fax Modem ]

Device Properties:
Device Description US Robotics 56k Fax
Modem
Bus Type PCI
Bus / Device / Function 0 / 11 / 0
Device ID 12B9-1008
Subsystem ID 12B9-00D7
Device Class 0700 (Serial Controller)

The device and subsystem IDs suggest that the modem is a USR 5610A PCI
modem:

http://listing.driveragent.com/pci/12b9/1008?res=2
http://listing.driveragent.com/pci/12b9/1008/12b900d7

The 5610A is a full hardware modem that does not require drivers, only
an INF file.

See http://www.usr.com/support/product-t...asp?prod=5610a

It appears that the motherboard's AMR slot is not being used. I'd make
sure that it is disabled in the BIOS setup.

I KNEW I was right. He's a jerk. WHO writes 3993 MB instead of
whatever it is in GB? I may be stupid not to be able to figure
it out, but this is the FIRST time I have EVER seen someone do
this. I suppose when someone asks him how tall he is, he says
1850 mm.

That is direct paste from the Everest report....that is how it is enumerated in the
utility. Many similar utilities do the same thing.

That is not really accurate, as the report is referring to AGP Aperture size, not
AGP memory.....they are not the same thing, as I'm sure you know. An AGP Aperture
size of 64MB is the proper setting for this system, with an 8MB video card (or 8MB
shared vid memory, if it is integrated display). The warning by Everest is not
correct.
