The error message you're seeing is usually caused by a network or hard drive
error, so if these documents are on a network I'd start looking at a different network card, updated drivers, check for problems in the network wiring or switches/hubs/routers, etc. If they're on a local drive you may have hard drive problems, memory problems, or perhaps some other hardware fault. -- Richard G.
