Default OE fragmenting Sent messages

When I try to send a 1.5 MB video clip as an attachment using OE6 the
Send/Receive box then tells me that the clip has been broken into 56
seperate messages which are being sent consecutively. So my recipient ends to
with seperate 56 emails from me and doesn't know what to do with them.Apart
from the obvious does anyone have any idea what I can do to correct this? I
don't recall this happening in the past.
Thanks a bunch.

Most decent e-mail clients including Outlook Express will join multi-part
posts. This will happen automatically if all the parts arrive at the same
time, if not the user needs to select all of the parts in the message lists
and then click Message | Combine and Decode.

However to split a 1.5MB video (which will be about 2MB in total due to MIME
encoding when mailed) into 56 parts seems somewhat excessive. You can however
easily modify the point at which a message is split as follows.
Tools | Accounts | Mail, select the account concerned, then click Properties
and open the Advanced tab. You will find a section on this page labelled
"Sending" where there is a check box, which if checked then enabled another
box where the size of the segments can be selected. To start with try
unchecking the box "Break apart message larger than ....".
