After screen blacks out it won't come back until I restart my system (Windows ME). k. I'll bite... what webpage ? Rick . Thanks for biting, Rick. The webpage I'm referring to is a Japanese site for sewing fabrics (http://rickrack.jp/). My wife, who is Japanese, and I live in Japan and our computer at home is a Japanese system Windows Me. My computer at work, a Japanese Windows 2000 Professional has no problem displaying the site but whenever we try to enter the site with my wife's computer it goes black. We can access the splash page but when we press enter to go into the site the screen goes black. Since my wife doesn't know a lot about computers, I've been trying to find an answer through various English sites. I told her not to access the site anymore and the computer's been fine. It works on every other site she visits. I'm just curious as to know what the site could contain that would make our screen black out. If you have any ideas I'd be glad to hear them. Thanks. |

No idea...., I'm guessing a problem with either Javascript or CSS stylesheets. If you can turn off Javascript in InternetOptions you can check on that. I think there's a stylesheet toggle in there somewhere, too. Rick (works fine in a recent Mozilla browser) |
