Download sysinternals sigcheck.exe version 1.54 or older???

Google finds lots of links, even for the older versions,
but they produce the latest version 1.60 of sigcheck.exe.
old.version.com: no results.
oldapps.com: no results.
lastfreewa no results.
Any ideas where to find version 1.54 or older?
These versions are suitable for OS W98SE.

Try some REALLY old FTP repos, like garbo, web sites like
http://www.bookcase.com/library, etc.

I never heard of the program and I don't know when it was made
but they have really old stuff but also newer stuff - although
not the latest garbage of course.

I see you got the ver 1.30, I looked around, and now that I know
what it is, there are many utilities that do basically the same
thing. One of them is you yourself - make a copy or dir list of
all files from a fresh install and compare, additionally using
MD5 or something.

But any big software site will have programs like this, I have
seen them, just never bothered, most are free.

Also, you could get a byte by byte file compare utility (built
into some of the better file managers) if you are concerned
about some file in particular.

Also, I VERY recently (duh) found out about the existence of
SFC.exe - it's in your win\system directory.

But FWIW, I /am/ a great fan of Mark Russinovich's programs and
use several.
