Default Windows ME - "TCP/IP network transport is not installed" Error Message

I reloaded Windows ME and now after the computer boots up
I receive the following error message "The TCP/IP Network
Transport is not Installed". I deleted the TCP/IP and
loaded it again, no luck. I can't go on the internet or
check my e-mails. Can you please help.

Thank you.
