MXI Clip Drive USB Device
When I use my MXI Clip Drive USB Device (124C 0100 Flash
Disk) with my notebook computer running Windows 2000 Professional, it works fine. It was not necessary to install any driver. When I try to use it with my home computer running Windows 98 Second Edition, it does not work. Install New Hardware shows the device, but calls for a driver. I have installed all the available updates for Windows. The light on the Drive keeps flashing. I received the Clip Drive from Microsoft for attending one of its seminars. Thank-you |

MXI Clip Drive USB Device
You will probably find that the device is marked as suitable for Windows
2000 and higher. If you can identify the manufacturer then you may be able to download a Windows 98SE driver from the manufacturer's www site. However, many manufacturers have not bothered to create Windows 98 drivers for their devices. It's possible that the device is actually a generic product that could use a Windows 98SE driver from a different manufacturer, but I don't know a way to find this out. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (DTS) "Philip" wrote in message ...
