Default Start button right click options

At some point (not sure when) my friend lost the ability to right
click on the start button and click explore. The only option not
greyed out is find. How can this be restored? Thanks

That usually happens when someone installs TweakUI and hides drives.
Ensure all 26 drives in TweakUI are checked.

Since you probably disabled it using TweakUI, I'd start there, s.

To give a little more detail to the other replies here.....if your friend has
TweakUI installed, start it (click Start Settings Control Panel TweakUI), then
click its "My Computer" tab. Make sure that *every* drive letter listed there has a
black check mark in the box next to it, and click OK.

Hello Glen,
I have Tweak too, I never would have thought of looking there to
solve the persons problem. Mine was already ticked.
So much to know so many places to look. (but this n/g is the
first I would go to rather than a windows help-file).
Btw, I have been changing i.s.p's in the last few days along with sorting
out many other things, so if Dan is listening I havent yet attempted to put
Linux on, but I will keep you posted.

regards Jane
