Default windows 98 opening software

I downloaded a software program that says windows 98 , 512mb of memory which
I have 576mb, is required. It was to launch after finishing the download. It
did not. I saved the software in a file then closed the internet, disabled my
firewall, and virous protection because in the past this has helped in
instaling new software. Then installed the software and rebooted. I checked
msconfig, startup and the software was no in the box. I add the software to
the startup through settings, taskbar & startup menu, rebooted. When I double
click on my desktop icon or go to start- program and click on the exe file
the curser looks like its trying to open the software but then I get nothing.
The software is a metatrader4 and they say I have all the computor to open
the software but don't have the tech's to solve the ploblem. I 'm I missing
something or is this software not able to be opened by my window 98. I have
12gb and around 75% free. Are their any suggestion other than buy a new
computor? My computor is a Dell and they don't service window 98. They were
surprised my computor was still working. I bought it in 2000.

If you supply exact details (URL) of where you downloaded it and what
version you downloaded, the someone may(?) install it on a Win98
machine to see if it works.
Please also supply details of what version of Win98 you have.

That's a high "Fog" index which has to do with paragraphs and sentences. (g)

Go to "Control Panel", "Internet Options" and in the "Temporary Internet files"
box, click "Delete files" and confirm the deletion. Then download and run
the installer again.
