I've looked all over for an answer to this. I don't know why I haven't asked here, where I probably could have got a real answer. But: what is -AUMagic? Is it a good thing or not? Thanks, Joe

Thanks, Joe It's called ZoneAlarm and its reporting that Win Me's AutoUpdate is attempting to access the internet. For some reason some versions of ZA report AUMagic rather than wuauboot.exe. -AUMagic is the switch used when launching wuauboot.exe on first booting Win Me. -- Mike Maltby
