W98 IE Problem
I have two computers connected to a DLink wireless router connected to a
cable modem. One machine is running XP the other W98. Each machine can see the others files and printers but IE on the 98 machine can't see the internet. Any ideas? Thanks, Fred |

W98 IE Problem
I am having exactly the same problem as Fred. Running XP pro on my main
computer, 98 SE on my laptop. Dlink 614+ Router with main computer and Dlink 650+ Airlink on my laptop. The setup was working fine. I took the laptop to a Hotel this weekend. I had to go into the Airlink card properties and clear them out to get it to work at the hotel. I put everything back in when I came home, Now it won't hook up to the internet again. I reran setup, ran setup from the disk I created; and the network came back up. It shows 192.168.0.101, and 255.255.255.0. I can 'ping' both of these. But just can't pull up the internet. The laptop shows up on the network on my main computer and everything. Anyone know a solution? "Haggis" wrote: "Fred Mullen" wrote in message ... Did it and still the same.
