Power Schemes Gone

disappeared. What file(s) do I download from the cd in order to restore the schemes? Thanks. -- { : [|]=( DaffyD® If I knew where I was I'd be there now. |

Power Schemes Gone
Please read my reply to you in your prevous post. You'll see that you don't
need the CD to set up those power schemes again. But in case you're wondering about how to restore the schemes more or less as they were... ALWAYS ON power scheme = Standby - NEVER, Monitor off - 10 MINUTES, Hard drive off - 30 MINUTES HOME/OFFICE DESK power scheme = Standby - 20 MINUTES, Monitor off - 10 MINUTES, Hard drive off - 30 MINUTES PORTABLE/LAPTOP power scheme = Standby - 20 MINUTES, Monitor off - 10 minutes, Hard drive off - 25 MINUTES These may not be exactly the same as they were by default (as I change mine right after a fresh install) but they're close enough. I've never had this happen in all the years I've run W98 SE. I thought about re-installing Windows over my current installation (not a reformat) but I'm concerned it would make the whole OS unstable. |
