Ping a Server Port?
How do I use the Windows 98SE DOS ping command to ping a particular port number? I need
to test to see if my ISP is blocking certain ports. For example, if I want to ping Port 25 on SMTP.MYSITE.COM from my computer. I tried C:\ ping smtp.mysite.com:25 and it spits an error. Thanks to anyone that can help!!! |
